Gas prices in northeast Ohio rise

WARREN — The average price for gasoline across northeast Ohio is 11 cents higher this week at $2.14 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.

In the Warren-Youngstown area, AAA reports the average is $2.09 per gallon and in Niles, $2.16.

This week last year, the region’s average price was $2.50 per gallon.

The national average rose 1 cent to settle at $2.18 per gallon, reflective of slow movement at pumps across the U.S., AAA reports.
