Revenue falls for operator of Hollywood Gaming in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — Penn National Gaming, the owner / operator of Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, reported first-quarter revenues fell $166.5 million compared to first quarter of 2019, to $1.1 billion.

The loss is directly attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the Wyomissing, Pa.-based company to temporarily close all 41 of its U.S. properties.
