Avalon Holdings reports revenue of $14.4 million
WARREN — Avalon Holdings Corp. reported first-quarter net operating revenues of $14.4 million, compared to $14.6 million in the first quarter of 2019.
The company incurred a net loss attributable to common shareholders of $800,000 in the first quarter of 2020, compared to $600,000 in the first quarter of 2019. The basic net loss per share to common shareholders was 21 cents, compared to 16 cents for the same period last year.
Avalon Holdings provides waste management services to industrial, commercial, municipal and governmental customers, landfill management services and saltwater injection well operations. It also owns Avalon Resorts and Clubs Inc., which includes a hotel and its associated resort amenities, four golf courses and related country clubs and a multipurpose recreation center.
