Gas prices up this week across the Mahoning Valley

WARREN — Motorists in the Warren-Youngstown and Niles areas can expect to pay more for their gasoline this week.

The average per gallon price in Warren-Youngstown is $2.71 and in Niles, $2.79, compared to $2.67 per gallon the week of July 28, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report. The average across northeast Ohio is $2.77, up 10 cents from last week.

Across the U.S., the average is $2.71, which is 2 cents cheaper than last week, 4 cents cheaper than last month and 15 cents cheaper than this time last year.
