Revenue down at Ohio casinos

WARREN — Revenue at the four casinos in Ohio in June was $70.2 million, down $3.2 million — or 4.3 percent — from May, according to the Ohio Casino Control Commission.

The slide all but wipes out the 4 percent gain in revenue the casinos had in May from April.

Revenue, however, rose in a year-to-year comparison in June.

Revenue was up $3.2 million, or 4.7 percent, from the $67.06 million the casinos posted in June 2018.

Table games last month generated $21.7 million in revenue and slot revenue was $48.5 million compared to $23.4 million and $50.06 million in May. In June 2018, table games generated $19.7 million and slots, $47.3 million.

The four casinos in Ohio are Jack Cleveland Casino, Jack Cincinnati Casino, Hollywood Casino Toledo and Hollywood Casino Columbus.
