Cortland Bancorp rings Nasdaq closing bell

CORTLAND — Officials from Cortland Bancorp, the holding company of Cortland Bank, Friday rang the Nasdaq closing bell to mark the company’s new exchange listing.

About 20 bank directors and officers, led by President / CEO James Gasior, traveled to New York to help ring the closing bell. The company’s common stock has been trading under the CLDB Nasdaq symbol since March 8.

“Transitioning to the Nasdaq capital markets was a major step for us, so it was exciting to be able to participate in this memorable event,” Gasior said.
