REAL LIVING VOLPINI GROUP RECOGNIZES TOP AGENTS: Real Living Volpini Group’s Howland office recently recognized three of its top producing real estate agents who received the Ohio Association of Realtors President Sales Club Awards in 2015. The Award of Distinction for $2.5 million in sales went to Kim Griffin. Patty Helmick and Darlene Mink-Crouse each earned the Award of Achievement for $1 million in sales.

FOX EARNS DESIGNATION: HBK CPA & Consultants announced Travis C. Fox, CPA, has earned the designation of Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) from the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education LLC. The certification came after Fox’s completion of the National Institute’s course curriculum and his passage of the related examinations. Fox has worked with clients and their attorneys on estate tax and wealth transfer planning since 2007. He joined HBK in 2011 and serves a wide range of individuals and business clients out of HBK’s Meadville, Pa., offices with the support of nearly 400 HBK financial specialists in offices in Pennsylvania, Ohio, New Jersey and Florida. Fox, a 2007 graduate of Saint Francis University, is a native of Meadville, where he lives with his wife, Lindsay, and their daughter, Lacey, 1.

CORTLAND BANCORP NAMES NEW BOARD MEMBERS: Cortland Bancorp, the holding company for Cortland Savings and Banking Company, announced the appointment of two new members to the board of directors of both the company and the bank. J. Martin Erbaugh’s term expires in 2018. Thomas P. Perciak’s term will expire at the 2016 annual meeting.

ROGERS JEWELERS OPENS AT EASTWOOD MALL: Rogers Jewelers, which recently opened its new location at the Eastwood Mall, has scheduled a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony 2 p.m. Thursday. The company, which began in 1920, has locations in 10 states.

ONE HEALTH OHIO KICKS OFF EXPANSION: One Health Ohio recently kicked off its construction project for its expansion, Falls Family Care Facility, 175 E. Broad St., Newton Falls. The facility, which will feature six medical exam rooms, four dental treatment rooms, a lab testing room and on-site pharmacy, among other services, is scheduled to start up in March.

UNITEDMEDSOURCE OPENS WITH RIBBON CUTTING: UnitedMedSource, 6414 Market St., Boardman, recently opened officially with a ribbon cutting. The business works with hospitals in Ohio to match nurses to jobs.
