Serial killer expert coming to speak at Packard Music Hall
WARREN — An expert on serial killers is scheduled to speak Feb. 8 at Packard Music Hall.
“Serial Killers: With Dr. Scott Bonn” features the criminologist, producer, TV analyst, public speaker and best selling author of “Why We Love Serial Killers: The Curious Appeal of the World’s Most Savage Murderers.”
Bonn provided expert commentary and analysis for true crime shows and documentaries on A&E, Discovery, Oxygen, Investigation Discovery and the Travel Channel. He also is the author of “Mass Deception: Moral Panic and the U.S. War on Iraq” and the novel “Evil Guardian,” which was inspired by his correspondence with serial killers David Berkowitz (Son of Sam) and Dennis Rader (Bind, Torture, Kill).
Tickets for the 7 p.m. program range from $39.50 to $55 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password PACKARD.
