The Burchfield Homestead Society’s Trees and Trains holiday event will span two locations.

Trees decorated in themes from Charles E. Burchfield paintings and model trains will be on display at the Burchfield Homestead, 867 E. Fourth St., Salem, 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The tree display will remain open from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 1, 8, 15 and 22 and by appointment.

A custom train display also will operate at the homestead, and a second model train layout will be featured at Naragon Law Office, 248 E. State St., Salem, at the same times this weekend.
