Writing Through Grief Project starts Aug. 29
Community Hospice and Lit Youngstown are partnering for a six-week writing group open to anyone experiencing grief.
The Writing Through Grief Project will meet 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays starting Aug. 29 at the Columbiana Library, 332 N. Middle St. The two groups hope to reach those interested in writing and sharing with others who are grieving. Community-based writing groups have been found to positively impact participants’ self-esteem, hopefulness and feelings of support and decrease their anxiety, depression and other psychological symptoms.
