McKinley Home hosts program
The McKinley Birthplace Home, 40 S. Main St., Niles, will present a program on “The Mahoning River: Past, Present, and Future” 2 p.m. Saturday.
Felicia Armstrong and Colleen McLean from the Friends of the Mahoning River will discuss the river’s history, including its importance to industry and use as a shipping corridor. They will also discuss the pollution of the river and past and current conditions, including ways to get involved.
