Howland native Kayla Boye booked with one-woman show
YOUNGSTOWN — “Call Me Elizabeth,” a one-woman show written by and starring Howland native Kayla Boye about the early life of Elizabeth Taylor, will have its live regional premiere at the Youngstown Playhouse’s Moyer Room.
A filmed version of the production premiered online last year during the COVID-19 pandemic while Boye served as executive director for the Playhouse. It later was picked up by the streaming service Broadway on Demand.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. June 25 and 2:30 p.m. June 26. Tickets are $20 and are available online at youngstownplayhouse.org and by calling the Playhouse box office at 330-788-8739.
