The Boardman Historical Society will present a program on Boardman, Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Lake Park cemeteries at 10 a.m. March 5 at the Boardman Library, 7680 Glenwood Ave.

Mark Luke will discuss the history of the three properties. Boardman Cemetery on Tanglewood Drive dates back to 1805. Lake Park opened in 1914, and Forest Lawn was founded in 1930. Luke is a Boardman Kiwanis vice president and known for his involvement in organizing Boardman parades. He also is a trustee of the Lake Park Cemetery Association.
