Chase Rice announced for Packard

Country artist Chase Rice will perform at Packard Music Hall on Aug. 27.

Rice was one of the only national acts to play in 2020 at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre, which was shut down most of the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

His country hits include “Ready Set Roll,” “Gonna Wanna Tonight,” “Eyes on You” and “Lonely If You Are.”

Rice sold more than 1.6 million albums, and his songs have been streamed more than a billion times. Rice also co-wrote Florida Georgia Line’s hit single “Cruise,” and the duo appeared on Rice’s last single, “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.”

Rice first gained national attention in 2010 as a competitor on the CBS reality show “Survivor,” and he appeared on “The Bachelor” in 2020, when bachelor Peter Weber brought one of the contestants for a one-on-one date to see Rice perform at Cedar Point in Sandusky. Rice previously had dated the woman Weber brought to the show.

Tickets for the 8 p.m. show range from $32.50 to $52.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Packard box office and through Ticketmaster. An online-only presale runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday with the password: PACKARD.
