YSU gallery displays student sculptures

A student sculpture exhibition opens Monday at Youngstown State University’s Judith Rae Solomon Gallery.

Organized by faculty members Lauren Baker and Anthony Armeni, the exhibition features work created by students in sculpture and ceramic courses last semesters.

Participating students include Bo Gyeong Son, South Korea; Alexandria Sahyoun, Boardman; Cassandra Holsopple, East Palestine; Derrick Brubacher, Alamosa, Colo.; Emily Fetsko, Boardman; Morgan Lay, Brookfield; Connie Kolarik, Boardman; and Maria Saunders, Plavna, Russia.

The work will be on display through Feb. 12 at the gallery on the second floor of Bliss Hall. The exhibition is available to view through the gallery windows 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
