Packard Museum receives $10K state grant
Ohio Humanities awarded the National Packard Museum a $9,959 immediate emergency grant.
The organization supports cultural and heritage nonprofit institutions in the state. During this time of pandemic and economic crisis, Ohio Humanities is using CARES Act funds provided by Congress and the National Endowment for the Humanities to provide a lifeline to those nonprofits. The grants provide direct support to organizations whose viability has been endangered by the coronavirus.
The money will help the museum with short-term core operating costs and will keep the museum open and operating. The museum at 1899 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, reopened this month and is following all safety guidelines in the Consumer, Retail, Services & Entertainment category.
