‘Nunsense’ musical coming to Youngstown

Easy Street Productions will stage the musical “Nunsense” in March at DeYor Performing Arts Center’s Ford Family Recital Hall.

The musical by Dan Goggin ran for 10 years and is the second longest-running Off-Broadway show in history. The musical is built around a talent show staged by the remaining members of the Little Sisters of Hoboken, trying to raise the money needs to bury their fellow nuns, who were killed by a bad batch of vichyssoise. The cast will feature Maureen Collins, Carla D. Gipson, Colleen Chance, Brandy Johanntges and Elizabeth Amstutz.

Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. March 27-28 and 2:30 p.m. March 29. Tickets range from $19 to $35 and are available at the DeYor box office, online at www.youngstownsymphony.com and by calling 330-744-0264.
