Pittsburgh orchestra returns to Westminster
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Westminster College’s Orr Auditorium.
Conductor Manfred Honeck will lead the orchestra in a program featuring Edvard Greig’s “Peer Gynt,” Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Caprice bohemien” and Felix Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. Guest artist on the concerto with be Lithuanian violinist Julian Rachlin.
Tickets range from $40 to $55, with student tickets available for $12 (Westminster students are admitted for free). For tickets or more information, call 724-946-7354.
