Austintown author earns award
Austintown author Nancy Christie won second place in the Florida Writers Association’s Royal Palm Literary Award Competition for her short story collection “Peripheral Visions and Other Stories.”
Christie’s short story, “Pandora’s Box,” part of that collection, also was a finalist in the competition. The award was announced at FWA’s four-day annual conference in Altamonte Springs, Fla.
