Amy K. Stankewich and Michael Tonkovich were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 3, 2019, at St. Mary Church in Warren.
An evening reception was held at The Grand Pavillion at Avalon Inn and Resort in Howland.
The bride is the daughter of John and Vicki Stankewich of Howland. Parents of the groom are Mike Tonkovich of Cortland and Becky and Timothy Hedinger of Greensburg, Ind.
Alisha Williams, cousin of the bride, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Brown and Nicole Pettenati, cousins of the bride; Kim Tonkovich, aunt of the groom; and Meghan Doig and Mary Simpkins. The grooms’ daughter, Nadiya Tonkovich, served as flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man for his cousin was Jason Reed. Groomsmen were Johnny Stankewich, brother of the bride; Eddie Pettenati, cousin of the bride; and Gian Massaro, Shawn Michael and Jeff Wilson.
The new Mrs. Tonkovich attended Howland High School and Youngstown State University. She is the owner of the retail store, Dance & Gym Boutique in Niles.
Mr. Tonkovich attended Lakeview High School and Kent State University. He is owner / operator of MowTown Landscaping & Design.
Following a honeymoon to Myrtle Beach, the couple resides in Howland.
