Johnson – Janosik wedding

Michelle Rose Johnson and Alex James Janosik were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2018, at Irons Mill Farmstead in New Wilmington, Pa.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father, Edward Johnson, who has since passed away. The groom is the son of Shelly and Jim Janosik of Cortland.

Nicholas Culver attended the wedding as the bride’s man of honor. Zach McCleod served as a male bridesmaid and Andy Agona served as a male matron of honor. Bethany Svoboda, Anna Brekoski and Alexis Davis all served as bridesmaids.

Zach Janosik served as the groom’s best man. Dan Ellis, Todd Coburn, Jesse Janosik, Brandon Janosik and Mike Brekoski all served as groomsmen.

The new Mrs. Janosik graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and will be graduating in May with a master’s degree in social work from Youngstown State University. In June, she will begin her doctorate in occupational therapy at Slippery Rock University. She works in substance abuse treatment.

Mr. Janosik graduated from Pennsylvania State University with an associate’s degree in science. He is employed at Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates as a physical therapy assistant.

Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Howland.
