CENTENARIAN SEARCH: The Trumbull County Senior Services Advisory Council is seeking to honor Trumbull County centenarians — ages 100-plus — to celebrate National Centenarian Day Sept. 22. Plans are being organized to honor the centenarians Sept. 26 at the Warren Library with a special proclamation honoring those who have a lifetime of accomplishments to share including the secret to longevity.
To recognize a Trumbull County resident, please call the Senior Levy Administration office at 330-675-2486 or 330-675-7846 by Aug. 31. Centenarians from last year’s event will be contacted.
Information needed will be the honoree’s name and address, date of birth, contact person’s name, address and phone number, and whether the centenarian plans to attend the event.
Transportation can be provided if needed. Any additional information to share about the centenarian’s life and quotes or any other words of wisdom from them would be welcomed.
