PERI TO MEET: The Public Employee Retirees of Mahoning County Chapter 18, will meet at noon Tuesday at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road. Cost for lunch is $18 per person.

SCHOOL RETIREES MEET: Howland Schools Retirees will meet 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Enzo’s Restaurant. The Howland High School Choir will present a program of Christmas / holiday selections. All retired Howland Schools employees, spouses / guests are welcome to attend. Cost of the lunch is $20 and payable at the door. McDONALD CENTER: McDonald Community Room is located at 500 Ohio Ave., and offers recreational activities for anyone 60 and older living in Trumbull County.

YOGA CLASS: Free yoga class at 11 a.m. Saturdays at the Niles Senior Citizens Center, 14 E. State St. Bring a thin yoga mat.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: SCOPE Senior Services needs volunteers during the daytime to help deliver groceries to homebound and disabled citizens. Call SCOPE at 330-399-8846.

FARMINGTON SENIOR CENTER: The center, 150 College St., Farmington, is open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Call 330-889-2733.

WELLNESS CENTER: The Niles Wellness Center, 213 Sharkey Drive, Niles, is partnering with Mercy Health to offer the following free classes:

• Chair aerobics — 10 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

• It Feels Good / Urban Line Dance — 6 p.m. Tuesdays

• Walk for a Healthier You — 9:30 a.m. Thursdays

• Chair volleyball — 10 a.m. Thursdays

• Zumba — 5:30 p.m. Thursdays

The center accepts SilverSneakers, Renew Active, Silver and Fit, and Active and Fit.

RESPITE CARE: Easterseals of Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties offers free respite care through the Adult Day Center, 299 Edwards St., Youngstown, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays.
