LAWN FESTIVAL: Calla Community Church, 6482 W. Calla Road, Canfield, will host its lawn festival 5 p.m. July 9. A free-will donation will be accepted for all the food. Donations help Calla Church continue mission work in the community.

A patriotic handcrafted quilt will be raffled. The winner of the quilt doesn’t need to be present.

Pastor Rampage Stevens is the church pastor.

WELCOME PASTOR: Grace United Methodist Church, 1725 Drexel Ave. NW, Warren, will welcome Pastor Barry French and his wife, Sharon, at noon July 10. French was formally appointed as pastor in June and began serving Friday.

GOSPEL SINGERS: Gospel singer Kevin Spencer will be in concert at 6 p.m. July 10 at General Assembly Church of God, 2021 E. River Road, Newton Falls.

A love offering will be received.

PRAYING WITH COLOR: Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center will offer Praying with Color with Paulette Kirschensteiner 7 p.m. July 10 to noon July 14. All materials are supplied. Cost is $335.

BIBLE STUDY: The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley is starting a Bible study on the Book of Revelation on July 13. CEO John Muckridge III will lead the study 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
