ASAP TRACK MEET: The Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention, a program of the Trumbull County Mental Health and Recovery Board, is sponsoring the “2022 ASAP Summer Track Meet” 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 9 at the Warren G. Harding Track and Field Complex, 860 Elm Road NE, Warren. Children and families from Trumbull County and the surrounding area are invited. Cost is $10 per child. Registration is available online at www.Eventbrite.com. Registration deadline is Friday. There will be no same-day registration.

The event will feature a track and field meet for children and youth ages 4 to 14. There will be games and activities for children, and information for parents on how to provide a healthy, drug-free lifestyle for their kids.

Track and field teams from McDonald High School and Warren G. Harding High School are assisting with the event.

EATING DISORDER HELP: The National Association for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia and other Eating Disorders (ANAD), will meet 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Church of Notre Dame, 2325 Highland Road, Hermitage, Pa.

MAMMOGRAPHY MOBILE: The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center Mobile Mammography Unit will travel around northeast Ohio. The state-of-the-art mobile unit uses the same high-quality technology and equipment to perform the mammogram that can be found in the JACBCC.

Mercy Health-Youngstown announced the following mobile mammography screening dates left in June:

• Today — 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Howland Primary Care, 1932 Niles Cortland Road, Warren;

• Wednesday — 8 to 11:15 a.m., Girard Multi-Generational Center, 443 Trumbull Ave., Girard;

• Thursday — 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Vienna Primary Care, 341 Youngstown Kingsville Road, Vienna.

COVID-19 CLINICS: The Warren City Health Department holds a walk-in COVID-19 clinic for youths 12 and older 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. every Wednesday. No appointment is necessary.

The health department will attend the Trumbull Community Action Partnership Health Fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

FAMILY ALZHEIMER SUPPORT: The Alzheimer’s Network Family Support Groups offer seven local meeting sites. Locations in Austintown, Boardman, Girard, Howland, Poland and Salem, and Hermitage, Pa., are open.

WELLNESS CENTER PROGRAMS: The Niles Wellness Center is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. To register for any program or for more information, call the center at 330-349-9355 or email Chelsey Christie at cchristie@thecityofniles.com.

The center is a family membership facility and welcomes all SilverSneakers, Silver and Fit, and Renew Active participants. Also offered is a fully equipped weight room, four-lane indoor track, basketball court and a soccer field.

Through a partnership with Mercy Health and its Stepping Out Program, the center offers the following classes:

• Zumba, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays;

• Line dancing, 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays;

• SilverSneakers endurance class, 10 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays;

• Pickleball, 7 to 11 a.m. Monday through Friday.

MVI HOSPICE CARE: Bereavement support groups are free to anyone who has lost a loved one, including a pet. Contact 330-759-9487 for information. Sessions are 1 to 3 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month at First Presbyterian Church of Warren Fellowship Hall, 256 Mahoning Ave. NW, Warren, and 1 to 3 p.m. the first Wednesday of the month and 6 to 8 p.m. the fourth Monday of the month at the Boardman Park Georgeanna Parker Administration Building, 375 Boardman Poland Road, Boardman.

ST. JOE’S AT THE MALL: St. Joe’s at Eastwood Mall’s hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, located next to JCPenney and Kay Jewelers. All classes are open to anyone with a St. Joe’s at the Mall membership. Screenings and programs are open to the public. Some classes are by registration only due to social distancing guidelines. St. Joe’s at the Mall is a SilverSneakers, Silver and Fit, and Renew Active site. For more information or to make an appointment, call 330-652-7542.

Strong People Gym membership is $24 monthly, with appointment initially with exercise physiologist.

Weekly exercise classes include Cardio Jam, SilverSneaker Classic and Cardio, Cardio Jam, Cardio Combo, Zumba, chair yoga, floor yoga, beginning and advanced balance classes, 60-up balance class, and Parkinson’s and movement disorder exercise classes.

There will be no Lab Express screenings in June. Labs will resume in July.

• Free blood pressure screenings, 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday;

• Free nutritional assessment with a dietitian on Fridays by appointment only;

• Free notary public services and living wills and durable power of attorney for health care, 9 a.m. to noon Wednesdays;

• Today — Crib and Car Seat Class, 2 to 3 p.m. with the Trumbull County Health District. Call 330-675-2489 to register and for further information;

• Thursday — Free notary public services and free living wills and durable power of attorney for health care, 1 to 4 p.m.;

• Thursday — Free Peripheral Vascular Disease Screening, 1 to 4 p.m. By appointment only.

ADDICTION HELP: The Trumbull County Combined Health District urges residents to help slow the increase of overdoses in the community by taking advantage of free Narcan through the district.

Narcan quickly reverses the effects of opioids such as heroin and fentanyl, and anyone can be trained by one of the district’s employees to administer the life-saving medication and receive a free kit containing two doses.

CAREGIVER SUPPORT: The Alzheimer’s Association’s Greater East Ohio Area Chapter makes Alzheimer’s caregiver support groups available free of charge. They are open to all caregivers, family members and friends with a loved one affected by the disease or another form of dementia.

• Howland — 7 p.m. second Tuesday, Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road NE.

• Warren — 10 a.m. third Wednesday, Trumbull Regional Medical Center, 1350 E. Market St., conference room F, Warren.
