What: Have a 12-inch container ready with cut greens and work on your own container as Pam Baytos demonstrates how to make a beautiful holiday container with proper form and function. Be ready to take notes.

Skulls Tell it All: Ohio Mammals with speaker Stephanie Hughes

What: By studying Ohio mammal skulls we can label them either predator or prey, and tell what they eat. With this information, we can identify relationships and habitats.

Take Charge of Your Diabetes this Holiday

When: 11 a.m. Dec. 14, 5 p.m. Dec. 16

What: Join Marie Economos and Beth Stefura, Family and Consumer Sciences Educators from OSU Extension, to learn the basics of diabetes management as well as tips on making better choices and staying motivated. The same class will also be held 5 p.m. Dec. 16.

The Dirt on Achieving Gardening Success in 2021

When: 10 a.m. Jan. 12

What: The key to a successful garden depends on the composition of the growth medium. This program will examine how to determine what you have in your soil and how to make the necessary changes to attain an ideal garden soil. The speaker is Bill Snyder, Mahoning County Master Gardener, and Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist.
