SKIN CANCER PROGRAM: The Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown, will offer “Skin Cancer: Risks, Signs and Precautions” from noon to 12:45 p.m. Friday.

Thaer Khalaf, a medical student at the University of Antigua College of Medicine, will discuss skin cancer and related skin conditions. The program is free but registration is required by Wednesday. Visit jccyoungstown.org to register.

ST. JOE’S AT THE MALL: St. Joe’s at the Mall at the Eastwood Mall summer hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Many of St. Joe’s Fitness classes are being offered on Facebook at www.facebook.com/St-Joes-at-the-Mall-578312085547827. All classes are open to anyone with a St. Joe’s at the Mall membership. ALZHEIMER’S GROUPS: The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter makes Alzheimer’s caregiver support groups available free to all caregivers, family members and friends with a loved one affected by the disease or another form of dementia.

VIRTUAL WALKING PROGRAM: The American Heart Association and Sharon Regional Medical Center are providing a free, virtual community walking program that gets people moving during the pandemic.

The initiative, called “Healthy For Good,” will run through the Mercer / Lawrence Heart Walk on Sept. 26. Anyone can join the group through the Healthy Steps Virtual Walking Program Facebook page.
