ALZHEIMER NETWORK SUPPORT GROUPS: Alzheimer Network Family Support Groups will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 4 at New Virginia Methodist Church, 1100 S. Keel Ridge Road, Hermitage, Pa., and at 10 a.m. Feb. 5 at Children’s Rehabilitation Center, 855 Howland Wilson Road, Howland.

GROUP HYPNOSIS: A group hypnosis session for weight loss and to stop smoking will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at The Yoga Center, 972 Youngstown Kingsville Road, Vienna. There will be a free CD for use at home.

ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT GROUPS: The Alzheimer’s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter makes Alzheimer’s caregiver support groups available free to all caregivers, family members and friends with a loved one affected by any form of dementia.

DOWNS WINTER PROGRAMS: Down Syndrome Association of the Valley encourages persons with down syndrome and their families to visit dsav.org to register for winter programming that includes yoga, tennis, swim, cooking, social therapy and toddler time. Membership to DSAV is free.

DSAV is a nonprofit organization serving eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania and is an affiliate member of the National Down Syndrome Society, the National Down Syndrome Congress and Down Syndrome Affiliates in Action.

The DSAV Cooks class will again be held 6 p.m. Feb. 5 and 19 at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center in Canfield.

GRIEF RECOVERY GROUPS: Grief Recovery instructional support groups begins its 59th series at 6 p.m. today at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home Care Center, next to the funeral home, 709 N. Main St., Hubbard. Groups are led by Philip Roland and are open to those who have suffered the loss of a loved one.

The groups will meet each Tuesday throughout the winter, and are not limited to those families served by the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral home.

IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: Warren City Health District, 258 E. market St. Suite 327, Warren, is offering regular childhood immunization clinics through March.

9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 10 and 24;

9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. March 9 and 23.

ADDICTION THERAPY AVAILABLE: PsyCare Inc., 2980 Belmont Ave., Liberty, offers clinical therapy program to treat individuals suffering with substance abuse and drug addiction issues. Family members are also welcome.
