Teresa A. Thompson and Willie G. Fant were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held March 14, 2015, at the Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church in Rochester, N.Y. Officiating at the event was Bishop Clarence J. Turner, father of the bride.

A reception was held following the ceremony at the Diplomat Banquet Center in Rochester.

The bride is the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy Turner of Cincinnati. Parents of the groom are the late Rev. Willie H. and Mary A. Alena Fant.

Tamara Thompson attended her mother as matron of honor. Destiny Stroughter served as flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Pastor Gerald Morgan. Aiden Graham, grandson of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Ushers for the couple included Deacon Patrick Johnson Sr., Deacon Algeron Kelly and Elder Edward Poole.

The new Mrs. Fant is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati. She is employed by an international retailer as an optical manager.

The Rev. Fant received a degree in theology from the Moody Bible Institute of Chicago. He is employed in the final process department at General Motors, and he serves as an associate minister on staff at Fellowship Tabernacle Christian Center in Youngstown.

Following a honeymoon cruise in the Caribbean, the couple resides in Howland.
