Hess 51st

Tommy and Vivian Hess of Warren celebrated 51 years together on the Gateway Clipper Fleet dinner cruise in Pittsburgh.

The couple were married July 27, 1963, by the Rev. Robert Harrah at the Warren Baptist Temple.

Vivian was a team captain for Angels of Hope (Relay for Life) in Niles for five years and is a 24 1/2-year cancer survivor.

Tom was a member of the U.S. Air Force and spent one year in Korea. He retired from Packard Electric in January 2007 as an electrician.

They are members of the Leavittsburg American Legion and its auxiliary.

They have two sons, Michael (Jean) Hess of Howland and Gary Hess of Warren. They also have a granddaughter, Jennifer, and two great grandchildren. A grandson, Brent is deceased.
