Gia N. Montecalvo and Matthew M. Gustovich were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 31, 2013, at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown.

Officiating at the ceremony was the Very Rev. Monsignor Peter Polando.

A Tuscan-themed reception was held following the ceremony at DeYor Center / Powers Auditorium in Youngstown.

The bride is the daughter of C. Daniel and Rosanna Montecalvo of Warren. Parents of the groom are Mark and Virginia Gustovich of McDonald.

Michelle Montecalvo attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Angela Montecalvo, cousin of the bride, Kristy Gustovich, sister-in-law of the groom, Gina Bianco, cousin of the groom, Christina Bostardi, Sabrina Gilbert, and Gina Lucarelli, cousin of the bride. Melina Rozzo, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Gregory Gustovich. Groomsmen included Nico Lucarelli, cousin of the bride, Anthony Rozzo, cousin of the groom, Randy Riccitelli, Ryan Witkoski, Joshua Conkey, and Anthony DeSalvo, cousin of the groom. Ethan Montecalvo, cousin of the bride, served as ringbearer.

The new Mrs. Gustovich is a 2002 graduate of Howland High School, who received a bachelor of arts in communication studies and marketing from Kent State University in 2006 and a master of business administration in 2011 from Youngstown State University. She is employed by KPMG LLP as a U.S. marketing manager.

Mr. Gustovich is a 2001 valedictorian of McDonald High School who received a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering in 2005 and a master of business administration in 2011, both from YSU. He is employed by Summa Health System as a process engineer.

Following a honeymoon to Malta, the couple will reside in Brimfield.
