ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS: The Alzheimer’s Association will be holding their monthly Caregiver Support Groups on the following dates:

Today at 10 a.m. at the Northside Medical Center, 500 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown

Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. at Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland Wilson Road N.E., Howland

Feb. 19 at 10 a.m. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, 1350 East Market St., Conference Room F, Warren

CARING PEOPLE OFFER LUNCHEON: Single moms and children are invited to join the Caring People for a Valentine’s Day Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mahoning Valley Hope Center in Warren.

OUR LIVING WITH STROKE SUPPORT GROUP: 2:30 to 4 p.m. at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital in the boardroom on the first Thursday of every month. All stroke survivors and their families are welcome to attend.

MENTAL HEALTH GROUP TO MEET: Recovery Int., a self-help mental health group, will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at Christ Church Presbyterian Church, 1933 Canfield Road. For more information, call 330-747-1176.

HELP HOTLINE OFFERS BRIDGES: The Help Hotline Crisis Center Inc. Recovery Program is offering a free 10-week mental health educational course called, Building Recovery and Individual Dreams through Education and Support, from 5 to 7 p.m. each week.

There are two programs being offered, one in Mahoning County and one in Trumbull County. Mahoning County will be held Mondays at The Help Hotline Community Center. Trumbull County BRIDGES will be held Tuesdays at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

MOOD DISORDER SUPPORT GROUP MEETS: Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance groups are open to anyone who is diagnosed with a mood disorder, has a family member or friend who is diagnosed, or who thinks they might have depression or bipolar disorder (also known as manic depression). The groups offer peer-to-peer support.

Meetings in Trumbull County will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays at the Community Solutions Association office, 320 High St. N.E., Warren.

Meetings in Youngstown will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays at Help Hotline Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown.

CELEBRATE RECOVERY CLASS PLANNED: A class using “Celebrate Recovery” material will be held at 6:30 to 8 p.m. every Thursday at the Warren Revival Center Fellowship Hall, 4000 W. Market St., Leavittsburg. For more information, call 330-898-4295.

GIRARD OFFERS IMMUNIZATIONS: The well-child immunization clinic will be held Feb.13 in the Girard Health Department located in the City Building. Please call for times and appointment. A administrative fee will be charged per child. Parents are reminded to bring a copy of the child’s immunization record. A parent or guardian must accompany children under the age of eighteen. Parents must pre-register children prior to the clinic.

The City Health Department will offer flu vaccines between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only.

Appointments and pre-registration can be made by calling the health department between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, at 330-545-6048.

FLU SHOTS OFFERED: Niles City Health Department, 34 W. State St., is offering flu shots from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, no appointment needed. Bring Medicare, Medicaid or Anthem Senior Advantage ID Cards. There will be a charge for all other HMOs.

The Health Department is offering an immunization clinic each month from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesdays. No appointment necessary. Immunization records required.

Children should be feeling well, with no ailments. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied with a parent or guardian.

FLU CLINIC TO BE HELD: A flu clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. daily at Warren West Community Health Center, 716 Tod Ave., Warren. Walk-ins are welcome.

PROGRAM OFFERED FOR DEALING WITH ISSUES: An eight-step Christian program based on the Beatitudes is open to anyone dealing with a life-controlling habit or issue. It meets from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays at the Bloomfield Recovery Center, 10113 Creaser Ashtabula Road, Bloomfield.
