Valerie Shelton and Brian Wires were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 3, 2013, at Howland Community Church in Howland.
A reception was held in their honor following the ceremony at Leo’s Ristorante in Howland.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Lois Shelton of North Bloomfield. Parents of the groom are Wayne and Karen Wires of Bazetta.
Kimberly Williams and Michelle Klamorick attended their sister as matrons of honors. Bridesmaids were Tristan Rice, Melissa Donatelli, Whitney Stone and Kelly Roscoe. Junior bridesmaids were Allena and Marissa Klamorick. Anistyn Williams and Quinn Klamorick served as flower girls.
Performing the duties of the best man for the groom was John Isoldi. Groomsmen were Kevin Wires, Tim Wires, Brian Albert, Nathan Taylor and Taylor Pease. Junior groomsmen were Mitchel Hoerig and Reece Klamorick. Diesel Williams and Reide Klamorick shared the duties of ringbearer. Ushers were Doug Williams and Pete Klamorick.
The new Mrs. Wires earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University and her master’s degree in curriculum, instruction and assessment from Marygrove College. She is employed as a first grade teacher at Bristol Elementary.
Mr. Wires earned a degree in civil and construction engineering technology from YSU. He is employed as a union carpenter for Coates Construction in Niles.
Following a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple reside in Cortland.
