Jillian Janik and Cody Havaich were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held May 18, 2013, at St. Stephen Church in Niles. The Rev. Tom Kraszewski officiated the ceremony.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Vickie Janik of Niles. Parents of the groom are Dale Havaich of Niles and Deborah DeMartini of Warren.
Janelle Bollinger and Ashley Hughes attended the bride as co-maids of honor. Heather McCormick, Samantha Timko, Caroline Laska, Celia Melillo, Courtney Havaich and Madison Havaich served as bridesmaids, while Marissa and Lauren Melillo were junior bridesmaids. Emilee Havaich was the flower girl.
Sharing the duties of best man for the groom were Casey Havaich and Brian Stein. Groomsmen were Matt Bernhard, Taylor Begalla, Ross Janik, Chris Hellam, Ron Glover, and Nick Mishko. Marco Melillo served as ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Havaich is a 2005 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ohio University. She is employed as an SOX analyst at United Guaranty in Greensboro, N.C.
Mr. Havaich is a 2004 graduate of Niles McKinley High School and received a bachelor’s degree in industrial and systems engineering from the Ohio State University. He is employed as a quality engineer for Energizer Battery in Asheboro, N.C.
Following a honeymoon to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Randleman, N.C.
