Danica Shay Wright and Ryan Michael Ronghi were united in marriage at a private wedding ceremony held July 6, 2013, at the Buhl Mansion in Sharon, Pa.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Cimineros in Niles.
The bride elect is the daughter of David Wright of Chester, W.Va., and Paula Ray of McDonald. Parents of the groom are Lou and Denise Ronghi of McDonald.
Miss Wright is a 2004 graduate of McDonald High School and a 2008 cum laude graduate of Bethany College where she received a degree in secondary education and Spanish. She received her master’s degree from Youngstown State University in 2012. She is a Spanish teacher at McDonald High School.
Mr. Ronghi is a 2005 graduate of McDonald High School and a 2007 graduate of the YSU Peace Officer Academy. He is employed as a full-time police officer in McDonald Village.
Serving as maid of honor for the bride was Amy Freede. Bridesmaids were Lauren Ludovici, Kristen LeClaire, Jess Alloggia and Adrianne Farris.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Tyler Stanley. Groomsmen were Louie Ronghi and Lance Ronghi, brothers of the groom, and Callen D’Amore and Joe Manofsky.
The couple will be honeymooning in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
