Maria Caicco and Christopher Kardassilaris were united in marriage at a ceremony held Aug. 25, 2012, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Niles. A reception followed at McMenamy’s in Niles.
The bride is the daughter of John and Elizabeth Caicco. Parents of the groom are Takis and Kathy Kardassilaris.
Julie Kolar, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor, and Katie Tripodi, a friend of the bride, served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Laura Caicco, sister-in-law of the bride, Amy Nestor, Lindsey Barnhart, Sabrina Gilbert and Isha Suri. Flower girls were Gianna Kolar and Lyla Farkas, cousins of the bride.
James and Michael Kardassilaris, brothers of the groom, served as best men.
Groomsman were Anthony and Vincent Caicco, brothers of the bride, Michael Bournias, Matthew Ries, and Joseph Pandelli. Ring bearer was Brayden Soverns.
Mrs. Kardassilaris graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate. She is a registered marketing associate at Morgan Stanley in Columbus.
Mr. Kardassilaris graduated from the Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He is a materials research engineer at Honda R&D Americas in Raymond.
Following a honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple will reside in Columbus.
