Kathryn L. Groves of Youngstown and Erik M. Bachinger were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Sept. 1, 2012, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Warren. The Rev. Ann Marie Winters officiated.

A reception was held following the ceremony at Leo’s Ristorante in Warren.

The bride is the daughter of Gerald and Deborah Groves of Warren. Parents of the groom are Michael Bachinger and Heidi Bachinger, both of Youngstown.

Attending her sister as matron of honor was Kara Eaton. Bridesmaids are Caitlin Keck, cousin of the groom, Dawn Schwartz, Amy McCoy, Alicia Seitz, cousin of the bride, Cierra Gabrielson, niece of the bride, Lauren Rago, and Stephanie Groves, sister-in-law of the bride.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Michael Bachinger. Groomsmen were Kirk Groves, brother of the bride, Garrett Crucian, Adam Keck, cousin of the groom, Lee Keck, cousin of the groom, John Latone, Chris Dahman and Anthony Rago. Jacob Groves, nephew of the bride, served as usher. Jordan Eaton, Hunter and Christian Groves, nephews of the bride, shared the duties of ring bearer.

The new Mrs. Bachinger graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse by the Cleveland Clinic.

Mr. Bachinger attended YSU. He is employed as supervisor for InfoCision in New Castle, Pa.

Following a honeymoon to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Youngstown.
