William and Rhea Gilmour celebrated their 60th anniversary Feb. 3 through 10 on the Norwegian cruise ship Pearl, from Miami to the Bahamas, Jamaica, the Grand Caymans and Cozumel, Mexico.
They were with the Friends of Cedarville University group and accompanied by two of their daughters, Bonnie (David) Valentine of Columbia Station and Christine (Mark) McFadden of Waynesville.
Bill and Rhea were married June 28, 1952, at First Baptist Church in Niles.
The couple have four children, Bonnie and Christine, William (Annette) Gilmoure of Howland and Carol (William) Tack of Sterling Heights, Mich. They also have 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Bill served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a Niles firefighter for 34 years, retiring in 1982. Rhea worked at the Ohio Leather Office and Carlisle’s Department Store.
