Mary Catherine Anne Denman and Philip Anthony Mazi were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held on Jan. 12, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish – St. James Catholic Church in Warren. The Rev. Jeffrey M. Stealey officiated.
A cocktail hour and dinner reception was held following the Mass at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles.
The bride is the daughter of William A. and Mary Anne Denman of Cortland. Parents of the groom are Judy A. Mazi and Samuel R. Bickel of Cortland and the late Jerome J. Mazi.
Jamie Miller attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Leslie Cody, Abby Cowan, Karen Majeske and Tessa Utz.
Performing the duties of best man for the groom was Michael Frangiamore. Groomsmen were Michael Denman, brother of the bride, and Trevor Mathews, Matthew Pytlik and Rodney Strata.
The new Mrs. Mazi received her bachelor of arts degree from the University of Toledo. She is pursuing her doctorate in audiology at the University of Pittsburgh and will receive her degree in April. She is employed as an audiology extern at Washington Ear, Nose and Throat in Washington, Pa.
Mr. Mazi received a bachelor of science in business administration from Bowling Green State University. He is employed as a tax accountant at Alpern Rosenthal in Pittsburgh.
Following a honeymoon cruise to Grand Turks and Jamaica, the couple will reside in Carnegie, Pa. They will continue their honeymoon with a trip to Hawaii in May.
