Emily Colleen Strohmeyer and Joseph Daniel Datchuk were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Sept. 15, 2012, at St. Mary’s Church in Mineral Ridge. The Rev. Richard Murphy presided.

A reception was held following the ceremony at The Corinthian in Sharon, Pa.

The bride is the daughter of Regis and Patricia Strohmeyer of McDonald. Parents of the groom are Joseph and Mimi Datchuk of Girard.

Hannah Strohmeyer attended her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Joey Appod, Toni DeSanto, Sarah Logar, Emily Saracusa, Melissa Turk and Renee VanDyke.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Robert Datchuk. Groomsmen were Bruce Alexander, James Keagy, Brian Partain, Jay Racick, John Racick and Mark Zuppo.

The new Mrs. Datchuk received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Mount Union in 2009 and a master’s degree in business administration from Youngstown State University in 2010. She is employed as a CRA by Carbis Walker in New Castle, Pa.

Mr. Datchuk is a 2001 graduate of Hiram College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a 2005 graduate of The University of Akron School of Law with a juris doctorate. He is employed as an attorney at the Cadle Company in Newton Falls.

Following a honeymoon to Aruba, the couple resides in Girard.
