Jessica Schwartz and John King were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Aug. 25, 2012, in Stambaugh Auditorium’s Christman Room in Youngstown.
Officiating the couple’s afternoon ceremony was Pastor Joel Dickson.
Cocktail hour and reception were held following the ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at Stambaugh Auditorium.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Pamela Schwartz of Johnston. Parents of the groom are John and Ellie King of Bristolville.
Karla Vasconcellos was maid of honor. Sisters of the bride Stephanie Schwartz, Kristen Schwartz, Elizabeth Schwartz and Danielle Schwartz served as bridesmaids, along with friends of the bride Shanae Timko and Ashshena Stephens. Vivian Schwartz, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl.
Performing the duties of best man was Craig Giesy. Groomsmen were friends of the groom Ron Swiger, David Whitt, Jim Fridley and Ray Cox, and Aaron Schwartz, brother of the bride. Ben Horvat, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The new Mrs. King is a 2010 graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural and biological engineering and a minor in environmental engineering. She will graduate in December with her master of science degree in horticulture and crop science.
Mr. King attended Youngstown State University, where he studied business. He is employed as the bookkeeper and office manager at Schwartz Farms in Cortland.
Following a honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Johnston.
