BASKETBALL CAMPS

WARREN G. HARDING BASKETBALL will be holding a summer camp June 30 through July 3 for students in third through ninth grade. Grades 3-6 will be from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and grades 7-9 will be from noon to 3 p.m. If the student is a participant in the Inspiring Minds Program, the camp is free of charge. Cost for Warren City Schools students is $10. Cost for non-Warren City Schools students is $50. Registration forms will be available at the Warren G. Harding Athletic Office or call 330-841-2316 ext 2331, and registration will be accepted on the first day of camp.

RUNNING EVENTS

THE 13th ANNUAL RUN WITH THE DEPUTIES 5K DASH will be held Sunday at the county jail in downtown Warren. The start and finish line will be there. Proceeds benefit the USO and Bob Hope’s nephew, Bob Hope, will be in attendance. There will be a ceremony honoring our veterans. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. and cost $15 preregistered and $17 on race day. There is also a 1-mile walk starting at 8:45 a.m., with a cost of $10. Football camps

LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL is hosting the inaugrual Liberty Local Legend youth camp from 9 a.m. to noon on June 26 and 27 at the high school. HUBBARD HIGH SCHOOL is announcing its two volleyball camps for this summer. The first is the Hubbard Instructional camp, which will be held from Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon for girls in second through ninth grades. The cost is $50. The second camp is the Shenango Valley Volleyball camp, being held June 23 and 24 for girls in fifth through 12th grades. The camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is $65.
