Wed. 5:50 p.m.: Bayuk hired at JFK

After weeks of searching, John F. Kennedy has tapped Jeff Bayuk as their new head football coach.

Bayuk brings to JFK 36 years of coaching experience — 24 as a head coach. During his career, he has been the head coach at Canfield, Hubbard and Campbell, compiling an overall record of 155-94. Most recently, he was an assistant coach at Warren G. Harding.

During his career he has been named Trumbull County Coach of the Year 11 times and Mahoning Valley Coach of the Year 14 times.
