LIBERTY 63, EDGEWOOD 53: ASHTABULA – Amy Mikulich and Leah Leshnack combined to scored 17 points in the first quarter as the Leopards outscored the Warriors 18-9 to open the game.

Leshnack led Liberty (11-3) with 27 points, while Mikulich added 13. Rachel Crum put in 12.

Taylor Deimer paced Edgewood (5-9) with 18 points, while Kaileigh Sloan added 12.

Tonight, Liberty travels to LaBrae.

BADGER 72, NEWBURY 47: VERNON – The Braves outscored the Black Knights 42-21 in the second half to pull away from Newbury.

Badger (8-6) used a 2-3 zone to get a couple of quick steals and limit Newbury to one shot on most possessions. It was in contrast to the light pressure the Braves applied in the first half.

Badger had four girls in double figures, led by Taylor Kramar’s 22 points.

Harlee Logan had 18 points, Izabella Armstrong added 14, while Cheyanne Dickson put in 10 for the Braves (8-6).

Nicole Iden paced Newbury with 20 points, while Kate Hess added 11 and Cary Morin put in 10.

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS 57, WARREN G. HARDING 38: WARREN – Ashanti Abslaw had 19 points, while Chelsi Cremnbe added 10 to lead the Tigers past the Raiders.

Maya Bell had 16 points and 22 rebounds to lead Harding.

CRESTWOOD 54, GARFIELD 48: MANTUA – The G-Men committed 28 turnovers en route to losing this Portage Trail Conference, County Division game to the host Red Devils.

Hoffman and Vannoy each scored 19 to pace Crestwood (4-9).

Madisson Geddes led Garfield (7-6, 3-3 PTC County) with 15 points, while Grayson Rose added 10.
