SPRINGFIELD 51, NEWTON FALLS 29: NEW MIDDLETOWN – It was a rough day for Newton Falls as it was held to 11 field goals in its loss to Springfield.

Springfield (8-2) took an early 12-9 lead and held on to it the rest of the way. Newton Falls was limited to two points in the second quarter.

Gabby Kline led Newton Falls with 10 points. Springfield’s Callie Ford led all scorers with 15 points.

LAKEVIEW 82, CONNEAUT 35: CONNEAUT – The Bulldogs shot 50 percent from the field and only had five turnovers as they cruised to their 11th victory of the season.

Four Lakeview players scored in double figures. Alli Pavlik had a double-double of 21 points and 11 assists. She also had a team-high eight steals. Callie Schmitt contributed with 15 points and a team-high eight rebounds.

Addison Becker scored 14 points and Jensen Silbaugh chipped in 13 as Lakeview improved to 11-0 on the season.

BEDFORD 58, WARREN G. HARDING 50: BEDFORD – Despite a double-double effort from Harding’s Maya Bell, the Raiders fell to Bedford in a Lake Erie League matchup.

Harding took a 41-36 lead into the fourth quarter, but the Bearcats rallied to outscore Harding, 17-9, in the final stanza.

Bell led all scorers with 21 points and added 24 rebounds. Teammate Chelsea Dipaolo added 14 points.

WINDHAM 77, WESTERN RESERVE 66: BERLIN CENTER – Despite Western Reserve tightening up the game in the third quarter, Windham held on to defeat the Blue Devils in a high-scoring, non-conference, showdown.

At the half, the Bombers led 44-29, but by the end of the third, Windham only had a three-point edge. Windham, however, outscored Western Reserve, 23-15, in the fourth to get the victory.

Four players scored in double figures for Windham. Jessica Isler led the way with 25, followed by Brittany Knight with 23. Dari Heller and Lexi Knight scored 14 and 13 points, respectively.

Aleah Hughes led Western Reserve (7-3) with 27 points and 12 rebounds.
