Brookfield’s Drapola is first team All-Ohio

Brookfield senior Bailey Drapola was chosen an All-Ohio first-team player in Division IV girls basketball, as selected by a statewide media panel.

The Division III and IV girls basketball All-Ohio teams were announced Tuesday. The teams were selected by members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.

Drapola averaged 20.7 points per game, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.6 steals per game for the Warriors who finished 15-9 on the season. Drapola shot 49 percent on all field goals, 45.8 percent (44 for 96) on 3-pointers and 84 percent from the free throw line.

John F. Kennedy junior Caitlyn Condoleon earned third team honors in Division IV. She averaged 23.1 points per game for the 12-11 Eagles.

The list of Division III and IV All-Ohio teams can be found on page C3.

Three area players earned special mention honors: Sharda Williamson of Liberty and Ashley Hall of Pymatuning Valley in Division III and Kristen Gill of Valley Christian in Division IV.

The Division I and II All-Ohio teams will be announced later today and the Ohio Ms. Basketball Award will be announced Thursday morning.
