Bristol, Windham win in NAC

¯ BRISTOL 78, NEWBURY 43: NEWBURY — Four players scored in double figures for Bristol as it cruised to a NAC win over the Black Knights.

The Panthers (10-2, 8-1) led 45-19 at the half, thanks in large part to a 26-8 edge in the second quarter. Bryan Gabrielson led the way with 16 points. He was followed by Gage Elza (14 points), Tommy Donadio (10) and Daniel Lamosek (10). Bristol shot 54 percent from the field (31-of-57) and made 8-of-18 3-pointers.

¯ WINDHAM 68, CHALKER 39: SOUTHINGTON — Windham dominated the first half of a NAC matchup with Chalker and never gave the Wildcats a chance.

Nine different players scored for the Bombers (11-2, 8-0), led by Eric Park and Phillip Maiorca, who each scored 15. Park also had a game-high six assists. Mason Angle added 10 for Windham, which led 40-13 at halftime.

Trystan Mollohan and Logan Regal led the Wildcats (2-10, 2-6) with nine points apiece.

¯ PYMATUNING VALLEY 62, MAPLEWOOD 56: MECCA — Pymatuning Valley almost gave the game away with a 5-point third quarter but got the win against Maplewood in Northeastern Athletic Conference play.

Maplewood (5-10, 3-6) tied the game at 39 after three quarters by outscoring the Lakers, 13-5, in the third quarter. The Rockets were led by Thomas Rink with 17 points and Shane Swogger with 11 points.

Pymatuning Valley (5-5, 5-3) was led by Noah Wilkerson with 22 points and Jacob Saxion with 11 points.
