Western Reserve’s Jeep DiCioccio struck out six batters and allowed just one hit in a 15-0 Blue Devils victory at Chalker. DiCiccio was just as impressive at the plate, as he went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Niles pitcher Corbin Foy struck out eight batters in a 4-0, complete-game shutout victory at Warren G. Harding.

Grand Valley’s Nick Reichek had three hits — including two doubles — and five RBIs in the Mustangs’ 11-1 win over Mathews. Josh Cunningham, meanwhile, added three hits and three RBI’s of his own.

Hubbard’s Kent Kroynovich had two hits and five RBIs in the Eagles’ 11-7, Game 2 victory at Girard. Hubbard also won Game 1, 8-1.


Brookfield pitcher Gabby Schiska went 4-for-4 with a double, while striking out three batters in a 10-3 Warriors win over Pymatuning Valley.

Hubbard’s Addy Jarvis had four hits and three RBIs in the Eagles’ 12-6 win over Hubbard. She was also the winning pitcher, as she struck out six Indians. Morgan Kist, meanwhile, had two hits and five RBIs.

Newton Falls’ Cali Miller had three hits and drove in four runs in the Tigers’ 15-1 win over Firelands in the Akron Firestone Tournament. Pitcher Tara Backherms struck out eight batters and allowed only one hit in the victory.
