Howland’s Williams leads D-III, IV All-Ohio area players
COLUMBUS — Howland’s Victor Williams, the Northeast Inland Defensive Player of the Year in Division III, was named to the first-team, All-Ohio defense in the same division.
Teammate Stephen Baugh was named to the third-team, All-Ohio defense.
The pair were the mainstay linebackers on a Tigers defense that led Howland back to the postseason, where the Tigers lost to Akron Hoban in a first-round matchup.
Poland’s Colton McFadden was a first-team kicker on offense, while Canfield’s Mason Giordano was a second teamer on defense.
In Division IV, Struthers’ AJ Iarussi was a first-team offensive player, while Cardinal Mooney’s Ray Anderson and Struthers’ AJ Musolino were first-team defensive players.
Hubbard’s Wesley Best and Ursuline’s Jeff Marx were second-team offensive lineman, while Hubbard’s David Hernandez and Mooney’s Jaylen Hewlett were on the second-team defense.
Mooney’s Pat Pelini was on the third-team defense.
