Help me if I am wrong, please. I have been reading about the Ohio code on recall petitions, and have discovered that the only officials subject to recall are the locally elected officials. State and federal officials are not subject to recall? Our political system is currently dominated by one party, nothing new, but their agenda has taken a turn that is not solving the public needs. The controlling parties’ direction is counter to the needs of the state, and we have only one option, sit back and let it happen. The republican party has decided for everyone that unions are evil, and they are the cause of the state deficit, therefore any contract with them should be nullified. There has been little or no serious attempt to sit down and talk about the problem, it is just crash bang here is what we are going to do. This is just an example of the republicans agenda being placed before the needs of the people of Ohio. Since we have no recall power over the governor, or the state
